I believe it's not a bug.
I guess you're using %default for line 4 or line 5 and that makes the
difference.
In 1.09a, %tab is evaluated after %default, while it's evaluated
before %default in 1.10a. Thus, in 1.09a, the %default for line 4 or line5
is overwritten by %tab.
