how to solve it (Carlos Puchol I think).

You should install  freetype-devel (libttf.a is there), if 
things don't work make the following symbolic link (I had to
do it)

ln -s /usr/include/freetype1/freetype /usr/include/freetype

for library problems (like looking for libttf.a) you may try
http://www.rpmfind.net
for you it's the french mirror at INRIA is probably better
http://fr2.rpmfind.net/
