Assuming a unix like environment try adding to ~/.Xdefaults a line
Ghostscript*background: blue
then execute
xrdb -merge ~/.Xdefaults
I haven't tried it, but it seems to me this or any other way you can
find of fixing the antialiasing problem would be the most complete
solution to your problem. If you can easily regenerate your plots
with a blue background that would work too.
