Inded you could modify the parser and scanner but why reinvent the
wheel.  libxml does all that for you and creates a DOM tree in memory.
Best solution if through out lex&yaxx all together and just do
xmlParseFile(filename) or somthing like that.

This actually mean more changes to mgp.  I will be glad to help
as soon as I can find some time.
