(mgp-users 00165) Missing words

Hi

I'm having a problem with mgp version 1.04a (980906). Many of the
words from my sides are missing. I've included an example below.
I'm running under the debian stable set and installed mgp from the
package manager. I also added a link to my windows partition to get
the ttf fonts from there.

lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     staff          19 Jun  4 20:31 /usr/local/share/fonts/ttf -> /dos/windows/fonts//

In the page:

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
%deffont "standard" xfont "helvetica-medium-r", tfont "arial.ttf"
%deffont "thick" xfont "helvetica-bold-r", tfont "arialbd.ttf"
%deffont "typewriter" xfont "courier-medium-r", tfont "courbd.ttf"
%tab 1 size 4, vgap 40, prefix " ", icon arc "green" 40
%tab 2 size 4, vgap 40, prefix " ", icon box "yellow" 30
%tab 3 size 3, vgap 40, prefix " ", icon delta1 "white" 20
%default 1 center, size 6, font "standard", fore "yellow", vgap 40
%default 2 bar "gray70", vgap 10
%default 3 leftfill, size 5, font "standard", fore "white", vgap 20

The words from the first and third bullet points are missing.

I also get the massages:

giskard.tonym> mgp test.mgp
style ICMp not found
style w@X&w@ not found
style w@X&w@ssues not found
tfc_setfont: font name not given, fail
giskard.tonym>

Has anyone else experienced this? Does 1.05a fix this? I tried to
install 1.05s and a recent snap but the configure script died trying
to find the truetype libraries.

Any help greatfully received.
