(mgp-users 00003) Time-based advance of mgp pages?

Is there any way for mgp to advance automatically through the various pages of
a presentation?  Or, it always necessary to press a key?

I am trying to use mgp and Linux for an unattended presentation which must
repeat automatically.  Thus, mgp needs to advance through its slides without
waiting for a key.  "Demo" mode is much too fast.

If this feature does not yet exist, is anyone working on it, who might
generously send patches or notes?  This feature is critical to our application,
and the problem will be solved with another program (and operating system,
alas) if mgp is not demonstrated soon.  Otherwise, it seems like an excellent
program!

I apologize if this is an FAQ.  A specific RTFM will be welcome.

Is there any archive of English-language questions, etc, from this list?
