  • A subset of the mobile network is itself mobile
    • Visiting Mobile Nodes (someone with a PDA in a train)
    • Mobile IP-subnet (someone with a PAN in a train)

• Multihoming

  • A mobile network connected to the Internet via several interfaces
    • 1 Mobile Router with heterogeneous access medias
    • 2 Mobile Routers or more
