I have just downloaded MagicPoint 1.0.9.
I am working with Linux 6.2, and have downloaded and installe Freetype;
the library libttf.a is in /usr/lib
But whan I try ./configure, I receive a "no found" message.
Here are the last lines ot the configure output:

checking for freetype library/header... /usr/lib and no
checking for dgettext in -lintl... no
checking for TT_Init_FreeType in -lttf... no
Fatal: libttf.a not found
-------------
Can someone explain me what is happening?
