(mgp-users 00351) Embed Subprocesses

When I display the sample.mgp presentation provided with MagicPoint 1.07a the
slide with the above title causes X to restart--most frustrating. The slide
immediately before (with the xeyes) seems to work okay, however when I proceed
to the next slide I can see the xclock ever so briefly before the screen blanks
and xdm/kdm shows up.

I am using v 1.07a compiled for Linux. I have tried both Mandrake 7.0 and SuSE
6.3 with the same result. I have also tried KDE, GNOME, and Blackbox with the
same result.

Any ideas or similar experiences?
