hi, i tried magicpoint a few months back and it was great.
now, i think it is much nicer and a lot of progress
has been made. i think this could allow me NOT to
go into windows any more! very nice.
(i only use it for presentations,
rest of the time linux rules my cpu)
one question i have is antialiasing and smoothing for fonts.
gimp does it, so there is precedent.
is there any way i can do it in magicpoint?
perhaps purchasing a commercial x server?
another way of doing fonts with aliasing?
also, i could potentially devote a bit of time
to coding, if i can help.
i am very anxious about this now, since i would really
really really like to NUKE windows.
thanks much!
