Domestic Routing Table Growth

This figure illustrate the number of routes observed at WIDE; most of the routes are from Japanese internet and some of them are from Korea or China. It may include a default route to represent other portion of the Internet. Since 11th Sept. 1995, route aggregation has been introcuded and possible routes are aggregated at the border of NSP's; this has reduced the number of the routes by about 50%. This figure is updated everyday, and the size grows. No data during Oct 27--Nov 24, 1994 are available.
